Consumer Confidence
Reports
(reports are in
PDF format)
State and federal drinking water rules require Group A
community water systems to produce and distribute an annual "Consumer
Confidence Report" (CCR) to customers by July 1st of each year. A CCR is
a yearly report on the quality and safety of the system's drinking
water. It includes the most recent results of water quality tests the
system conducted over the last five years (not all tests are required
every year). It also provides access through references and telephone
numbers to source water assessments, health effects data and additional
information about the water system.
Annual CCRs for Washington Water-owned water systems
are mailed to customers during the months of May and June, along with
billing statements. Private water systems that are managed by Washington
Water, and for whom we do billing, also receive their CCRs along with
billing statements. Managed systems for whom we do not do billing
receive their CCRs through distribution by their homeowners or residents
associations. All CCRs are also available online for public viewing
(below). You may request a hard copy by calling our Customer Service
Department in Gig Harbor, toll-free, at 1-877-408-4060.
